You don’t need special cycling clothes or gear to ride a bike — it’s perfectly possible even in heels and a silk scarf. The most important aspects of the experience are maintaining a comfortable pace, being considerate of other road users, and having an open mindset to fully enjoy the journey.

The charm of cycling lies in its direct, intimate connection with the urban environment: birdsong, the scents of nature, spontaneous encounters, the clinking of cups in a café, church bells, sudden changes in weather, overheard snippets of conversation, spontaneous encounter, and the freedom to playfully choose your own route.

The more people cycle in the city, the more attentive drivers become — making traffic safer for everyone.

You can ease into cycling gently: for example, start by replacing short car trips to the shop, school, or work with bike rides on ice-free days (in Estonia it’s now 10 months of the year).

And for urban space creators, cycling in the city offers a direct experience and inspiration for decisions that support the improvement of safer, higher-quality urban environment.

Moving with elegance and in an eco-friendly way adds color to life and freshness to your day. Cycling isn’t just for the adventurous — my goal is to make it an everyday, natural part of our lives.”
